    Jacob married COHEN NEE ABRAHAMS, Maria on 24 Aug 1859 in Middle Street Synagogue, Brighton. Maria (daughter of ABRAHAMS, Moses Dov Ber and ABRAHAMS NEE SOLOMON, Sarah Ela/ Eleanor) was born in abt. 1818; died on 18 Sep 1908; was buried in aft. 18 Sep 1908 in Florence Place Cemetery, Brighton. Led by genealogist Naomi Leon, we are a group of volunteers interested in preserving the heritage of Sussex's 250 year old Jewish community by indexing its surviving records. This project is strictly not for profit and depends on the generous support of its volunteers and user base.
